Who we are
Voqa is a start up, building an EV charger for residential and commercial spaces.
We have the luxury as a start up, of being part of ICM Group which has over $1.8 billion in funds under management, and so a bit like a young adult making their first steps in the real world, we can rely on the group for both strategic and logistical support in these early stages. Our product will be ready for commercial launch mid 2025 and we are building our go to market plan and capabilities. Our goal, like any young adult, is to operate independently as quickly as possible, and to do this, we need good people.
We believe that charging your car should be a simple exercise, and that it should fit into your day to day. And so we’ve made it our mission to make EV charging effortless, and in doing so support the transition to electric. We intend to do this by respecting the following guiding principles; keep it simple, innovate purposefully, design elegantly and do the right thing, always.
What we’re building
An electric vehicle charger and its software management ecosystem, complete with contactless payments suitable for residential and commercial venues. We have working prototypes currently being tested and expect our first products to be installed with paying customers by Q2 2025.
Who we’re looking for in a nutshell
An experienced Sales Lead able to operate within a start up environment. This is a hands on role as you will be the first sales person in the business.
Your mission
This role is responsible for selling our product. We already have a clear path to market (target audience, value proposition, commercial offer), and we need someone to take this and make it happen. From pipeline creation, bid preparation to closing the deal.
Who you’ll be working with
Everyone! We’re a small team and everyone needs to be able to collaborate. The VOQA team is split across multiple geographies; the core business team is based in the UK, the product team is based in Besancon (Eastern France), and we work with a number of external software and hardware providers based in Europe.
