What you will be doing

The chosen candidate will become part of the Legal Team in Milan, carrying out the following activities:

• Support and lead in negotiations on partnership and commercial agreements;
• Provide business and internal clients with legal assistance required on commercial, marketing and sales contracts;
• Support on M&A, corporate and business development transactions.
• Be an additional resource for the global data protection practice leads within Satispay.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• at least 3 years of experience as in-house counsel or legal firm in multicultural & international groups
• strong experience in negotiating commercial contracts in Germany and other jurisdictions and excited by finding creative legal solutions in multiple jurisdictions
• experience of driving commercial contracts to conclusion
• ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
• understanding & experience of practising of German law
• capacity to work under pressure and tight timescales
• native-equivalent knowledge of German
• fluency in English (additionally French and / or Italian would be highly desirable)
• a positive, commercial problem solving mindset with an outgoing, dynamic character

The role is based in Milan.
