About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced sound engineer for their event in Lake Como, Italy. The event is scheduled for with the engineer's services required for one to two days around this date. This short-term engagement involves managing the audio setup and sound quality for a live band performance setting.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage audio equipment for a five-piece band (two singers, bass, saxophone, and drums)
• Conduct sound checks and ensure optimal audio quality for the performance
• Operate the mixing console during the live performance
• Troubleshoot any audio issues that may arise before and during the event

Requirements

• Proven experience as a live sound engineer, particularly with wedding or event performances
• Proficiency in operating various audio equipment and mixing consoles
• Strong understanding of acoustics and sound reinforcement techniques
• Experience in setting up and managing audio for different musical instruments and vocals
