IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategic Analyst to support a customer on Redstone Arsenal.
Job Responsibilities:
- Planning, integrating, coordinating, and setting strategic communications across UHPO Divisional and Product Office assets, Technical Teams, and Functional Branches - as well as with other internal and external agencies (to include ACM, Pentagon HQDA elements, OSD, TRAC, AFC, Operational Army Unit Leadership, and other stakeholders as required).
- SME Project Office-level Technical Program Analyst working directly for the Acquisition Systems Manager (ASM). Position interfaces daily with the Project Manager (PM) and Deputy Project Manager (DPM) to disseminate guidance and manage program operations and technical analyses in accordance with DOD 5000.1, DODAF, and any/all other relevant acquisition activities for Acquisition Category (ACAT) I/II/III programs.
- Technical analyses related to acquisition COAs, modernization efforts, sustainment strategies, reliability improvement opportunities, obsolescence management strategies, aircraft architecture COAs, engineering decisions, generating reports, preparing briefings, providing support to all levels of management
- Interface daily with military and civilian personnel and other contractor personnel in a team environment
- Support leadership to oversee all operations of the Project Office
- Prepare and develop new strategies to increase the output for the Product Office/Division teams. Responsible for updating/implementing policies or core working practices and should provide clear leadership and direction to personnel, as directed by management
- Plays a key technical and operational role; keep accurate records of important meetings/schedule for the implementation of various Product Office strategies.
- Manage office battle rhythm (technical interchange meetings, agendas, tasking requirements, product development)
- Work with Project Office Headquarters Staff to synchronize and coordinate all Divisions/Product Office and actions
- Work with Project Office Headquarters staff and Product Office/Divisional leadership to support technical taskers
- Assimilate technical information from numerous sources and provide recommendations to leadership
- Issue, review, and track taskings for Project Office
- Assist with daily and weekly reports to higher headquarters (Staff Call notes, significant actions reporting, and other daily/weekly reports as required).
- Ability to analyze and integrate technical data, provide engineering change recommendations, project technical challenges with long-range plans and program objectives to support UHPO leadership with strategic planning and assessing outcomes execution
- Other duties as assigned.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Education and General experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (prefer Master’s, prefer technical) with minimum 15 years’ experience
- Expertise with developing, tailoring, and analyzing metrics to support engineering changes and programmatic decisions
- Army Acquisition experience (prefer Acquisition Corp member and aviation field)
- Acquisition Program Management Experience (DAU Level 3 or equivalent) as O5 PM (or equivalent)
- Department of the Army Systems Coordinator experience or similar HQDA Pentagon experience (>=1 year)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Army Acquisition regulatory and statutory requirements, acquisition policies and precedents, program goals and objectives, and work processes of the organizations supported, as well as relationships with other programs within ASA(ALT) and the Department of the Army
- Experience with Army Aviation, rotary wing aircraft operations, employment fundamentals, and how the Army runs (Program Planning, Budgeting, and Execution phases)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively and well with others
- Demonstrated expertise with Engineering and Program Management tasks
- Plan, organize, and direct the work of teams or task forces to accept recommendations, changes, or conflicts among team members
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft 365, to include, but not limited to Online, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Planner, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in Business Case Analysis activities
- Ability to work with and lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
- Impeccable problem-solving skills
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
