This includes writing Python scripts, libraries, hardware interfaces, and tests (using standard and internal frameworks). You'll work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, and Systems engineers to develop module, system, and hardware-in-the-loop tests.

We're looking for someone who's enthusiastic, innovative, a self-starter, and willing to take on the challenges in bringing advanced autonomous vehicle technologies to market.

In this Role, You Will...

  • Develop automated test scripts for various technology domains, including CAN and Ethernet-based network devices
  • Collaborate with design engineers and project/program managers to drive tests through an entire test life cycle, from requirements to test execution
  • Work in standard test frameworks, such as Pytest, and internally built test frameworks to create automated tests
  • Generate scalable tests and test libraries to enable other engineers and developers
  • Work with continuous integration and deployment tools, such as Bamboo, to implement regression and release schedules
  • Document software to make it easily accessible to others both within and outside of the team

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in an engineering discipline
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming in Python
  • Understanding of hardware testing and verification methods
  • Working knowledge of navigating through and using a Linux environment through CLI
  • Experience using test automation frameworks, such as PyTest or Robot Framework

Bonus Qualifications

  • Familiarity with basic mechanical, electrical, and optical test procedures
  • Prior experience working with communications protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, or TCP/IP
  • Experience with Git, Jira, Reviewable, Bamboo, Polarion, or TestRail
  • Experience using static analysis tools and formatters, such as PyLint and Black
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
