Mining Engineer

We are currently seeking a Mining Engineer to join our team at Dangote Group. As a Mining Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and directing mining operations.

You will evaluate the efficiency of mining sites, manage field activities, and monitor operational performance. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for optimization and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our mining operations.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Mining, or a related discipline.

You should also have a minimum of five years of demonstrated operating experience in mining operations.

In-depth knowledge of mining operations, production, maintenance, process control, and health and safety management is essential. Strong leadership and people management skills are required, along with good data gathering and analysis skills.

The ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively is also important for this role.
