Job title: UI/UX Designer
Job location: Toronto, ON(Remote)

• You are flexible and have open mind to accept input, and collaborate with stakeholder, business, product owner, marketing, and technology to come up with design best suited for the need.
• You have 6 + years of experience in UX Design, should have worked on design systems for your UI Design, creating a seamless brand experience on internal and external enterprise level applications.
• You have solid design chops. You’ve shipped enterprise level products, and understand what it takes to create valuable, user-centric experiences.
• You are a talented systems thinker. You can connect the dots between various user groups and industry workflows and turn them to simple and impactful product propositions and flows.
• You’re constantly sketching concepts, tweaking flows or refining designs that represent the big-thinking work while working with the team on simple User Interfaces for the MVPs .
• You’re an effective communicator and facilitator. You have planned structured workshops to drive outcomes quickly and effectively. You’re familiar with best practices but are just as comfortable challenging them.
• You also have the ability to deliver high quality work, and care about the impact.
• You have a user-centric design mentality. You are constantly looking to refine your designs through user feedback, whether through hands-on user research, or designing options for A/B tests.
• You have a strong portfolio (online or PDF) demonstrating internal and external enterprise level applications.
• You are able to provide a brief explanation in your application of why you are excellent for this role, while highlighting your portfolio.
Top skills
1. Passion for modern UX methodologies, UI design and interaction patterns.
2. Experience using Axure, Sketch, and Figma for creating user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual design.
3. Experience designing Responsive applications.
4. Ability to add design annotations for the development team.
5. Lean UX i.e. think vision, pig picture. Build UI from MVP with the ability to progressively enhance.
6. Experience working with Agile development teams.
