Manufacturing Engineering Manager

• The Manufacturing Engineer Manager will direct and manage the manufacturing engineering and maintenance activities for the plant.
• The ME Manager is also be responsible for return on investment relating to facilities and equipment and overall responsibility for environmental compliance of the Plant.

• Responsible for return on investments relating to the facility and equipment.
• Manages the plant capital budget.
• Solicits and negotiates bids from outside contractors.
• Directs the supervision of the maintenance and manufacturing engineering functions.
• Ensures that employees are trained and attuned to current and future GDT objectives and compliance with all mandated regulations, as well as GDT rules and regulations.
• Assists in the implementation of the "WINGS " employee suggestion program

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
• Industrial engineering skills such as work measurement, labor reporting and plant layout
• Building and maintenance contracts including liability issues
• Computer skills including MS Office and AutoCAD
• Analytical analysis and problem-solving skills

• A bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering with 5 – 10 years of experience or the equivalent combination of experience and/or education is required for this position.
