We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Associate (User Growth) to spearhead our efforts in user growth, education and engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving user acquisition and retention through creative, data-driven campaigns. They will be adept at executing promotional, discount, and subsidy strategies while enhancing the user journey through tailored app communications, landing pages, and content creation. With a focus on user education and engagement, the candidate will craft compelling messages, from push notifications to promotional emails, ensuring our users—whether drivers or corporate clients—stay informed and engaged.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensuring user growth through proper planning of acquisition, retention, and tactical campaigns.
  • Effective and efficient planning and execution of PDS (promotion, discounts, and subsidy) and user journey activation flow.
  • Ensuring user education through app communications, push notifications, modifying/creating landing pages, and writing website blogs on the unique selling points of Lalamove and use cases for end users (including drivers and corporate users).
  • Ensuring user engagement through designing and sending push notifications on offers, upcoming activities, and staying top of mind. In addition, writing blogs on user activities based on upcoming festivals, seasons, or special occasions, as well as designing and sending promotional emails.
  • Executing in-app content such as pop-up banners, carousel banners, newsfeed banners, updating website content, translating app strings, sending out promotional SMS, and designing email templates.

What We Seek:

  • Strong data analysis skills to evaluate, understand, interpret and take actions based on existing data
  • Strong writing skills (both written and verbal) in both Bengali and English
  • Skills of content ideation & strategy building
  • Understanding of local context & current trends and proactiveness to act on those context & trends 
  • Basic copywriting and content writing skills in both Bengali and English 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with potential customers 
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Humble, honest, passionate, and proactive.

What You’ll Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in relevant concentration from a recognized university
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in the field of campaign designing and execution 
  • Familiar with tools/platforms such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, G Suite, keyword ranking, Mass Communication Tools (e.g., Mass Email/SMS platforms like Sendgrid, ADNsms; Platforms for Sending in App Notifications/banners like Stone) 
  • Self-learning is a must and should be passionate about conducting research and identifying new avenues/trends and thereby presenting to the team, executing it and evaluating the performance.
  • Having the ability to forecast budgets/results, analyze data and generate concise observations/insights and recommendations.
