KKR's Gurugram office will provide best in class services and solutions to our internal stakeholders and clients, drive organization wide process efficiency and transformation, and reflect KKR's global culture and values of teamwork and innovation. The office will contain multifunctional business capabilities and will be integral in furthering the growth and transformation of KKR. This is a five days work from office role.

TEAM OVERVIEW 

KKR’s Finance, Tax, and Accounting team oversees the firm’s tax compliance, credit and accounting, and reporting matters to produce analytical insights that drive business decisions and long-term success. The team is responsible for designing efficient frameworks through internal and external data and reports to understand the market environment and business dynamics and implement best practices. The team also collaborates closely with KKR’s Legal and Compliance team to ensure compliance and accurate reporting and performance of our corporate tax entities related to our investment funds. The Finance, Tax, and Accounting team also functions as a support for clients, from onboarding to investor communications and overall relationship management across all asset class, as well as responding to any ad-hoc tax-related requests.  

POSITION SUMMARY 

The role is responsible for preparation and maintenance of LP based investment portfolio summaries, their performance review and quarter over quarter analysis. The role would require being able to supervise, manage and proactively delegate responsibility in a highly organized manner and thus ensuring timely completion of tasks. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assisting with technology initiatives.
  • Working with Investor Relation to prepare quarterly investor deck/earnings release. 
  • Responding to ad hoc request from external investors including return calculations and performance summaries. 
  • Flexible, able to work on own initiative, deal with more than one project at a time, can work under pressure and tight deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly. 
  • Perform detailed analysis and synthesize actionable insights from data sets and unstructured information sources; working closely with the Client Partner Group and Client Services Team to address LP inquiries of varying volume and details. 
  • Aid in marketing efforts by contributing to PPMs and providing hypothetical fund analyses for potential investors. 
  • Drive the mission of providing a single source of truth by collaborating with all private-side teams to build out and maintain a 'data warehouse' for more readily accessible information. 
  • Collaborate with Technology Group to create static and dynamic portal reports that would consolidate data points and streamline requests. 
  • Continuous focus on process improvement areas across private markets. 
  • A strong team player that is a self-starter, innovative, and confident. 
  • Preparation of investment portfolio database using multiple investment reporting packages available on cloud share drives. 
  • Identify new portfolios during current period from available portfolio summaries, update feeds such as Industry, sector, currency, tickers (in case of public companies) and work with IT team to add those in system. 
  • Calculate quarter over quarter changes in unrealized values and MOIC (Multiple of Invested Capital) and update the same in portfolio summaries. 
  • Load the investment portfolio summaries in accounting system. 
  • Calculate/update the LTM EBITDA, LTM Revenues, Enterprise values, Total Equity value, Gross and Net Debt, Gross profit etc. for investments. 
  • Extract and update Private Equity Benchmarks from investment portals and review the accuracy of same comparing it to previous records. 
  • Update Invested Capital, Realized/Unrealized values, Gross/Net IRRs, Net DPIs for investments as part of quarterly portfolio performance analysis. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required 
  • 1-3 years of experience in working in finance division of a multinational Financial Services organization and/or Private Equity fund preferred 
  • Good understanding of PE fund structures   
  • Power BI and/or Tableau experience helpful 
  • Excellent Excel skills (will be tested in interview) 
  • Proven strong system skills/ability to quickly retrieve data from various KKR systems 
  • Professional demeanor and highly ethical 
  • Ability to handle complex datasets, strong financial/analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience working within a financial services environment or comparable corporate environment  
  • Detailed oriented with a proven track record for accuracy 
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high growth environment 
  • Demonstrable, theoretical, and practical experience supporting KCS team with strong working knowledge of reporting and analytics. 
  • Demonstrable experience in driving change, efficiencies, and challenging the status quo  
  • Engaging personality who builds relationships easily/ Experience working with senior professionals 
  • A risk mind-set with the ability to identify, solve, and mitigate perceived risks 
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
