Client - Arlo
Splunk SME should be able to lead and mentor the Arlo team members in usage of Splunk. This person should be able to formulate a vision on the optimal usage of Splunk for Arlo's various applications and services which then has the possibility of expanding for the rest of the business units.
Requirements and Responsibilities: - Hands-on expertise with creating and modifying Splunk dashboards and alerts.
- Hands-on expertise with Splunk for security event gathering, processing, alerting, and reporting.
- Help to document best practices in developing and using Splunk.
- Working knowledge of Cloud Technologies preferably AWS.
- Monitor common log sources (e.g., operating systems, databases, and applications). Most importantly Kubernetes Container/Pod logs.
- Script, query, and parse log data using regular expressions in Splunk.
- Strong communication skills and ready to take ownership of the tasks
- Work with business/IT and create the next steps plan and implement the same.
- Minimum 5 years of IT Experience out of which minimum 3 years of relevant Splunk experience and at least one programming knowledge like Python, Java, C, C++, etc.
