What You'll Do

- Develop and implement human resource (HR) strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Spearhead and manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human resources.
- Develop and facilitate training programs for all employee roles within the company.
- Assess training needs to implement, apply, and monitor training programs.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the company.
- Nurture and develop a positive working environment.
- Participate and support a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Create and administer recognition programs and events to foster a positive work environment for all employees.
- Report to leadership and provide decision-making support.
- Manage the procedure and process payroll for all employees, including processing any adjustments.
- Adapt and manage in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Manage, apply, and keep current with all human resource sources and laws, including:
- Federal and State laws pertaining to human resource/employment law.
- Employee relations.
- Identify opportunities for improving, developing, and maintaining company standards.
- Manage and maintain all electronic personnel files.
- Attend all meetings required.
- Approach all encounters with team members and clients in a friendly, non-judgmental manner.
- Other duties as requested and/or required.
What You Need
- Proven working experience as a human resources manager.
- Knowledge of human resource processes.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills.
- Ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
- Microsoft Office skills required.
- Payroll knowledge required.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and Human Resources best practices.
- Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles.
- Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with internal team members and external clients.
- Education:
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field is beneficial but not required.
- SHRM certification is a plus.
- Experience in ADP payroll.
- Certificates, licenses, registrations:
- Professional HR designation (SHRM-CP or other) is preferred but not required.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct team members, including recruitment, selection, and development, to achieve company goals and objectives.
Salary
- Location: Ridge Pike, Pottstown, PA, United States.
- Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 / Year.
- This is a full-time, long-term position.
- The position is immediately available.
- Monday through Friday (Regular business hours).
Physical demands/ work environment:
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed for an extended period
Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to move, place, or store materials
Proper lifting techniques required
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
