Your Mission
As “Project Portfolio Manager (all genders)” you will be the bridge between strategy and operational level. It is your mission to foster transparency in the prioritization and planning process as well as in the success measurements of initiatives. You reflect the culture and strategy of Eurowings Digital’s organization with a focus on establishing and maintaining transparency and efficiency.
Your Tasks
- Take ownership of our ideation, prioritization and planning process and define standards for managing a multi-stakeholder project portfolio
- With your outstanding pro-activity, you lead and continuously improve established processes and the utilization of appropriate tools
- Your organizational skills are in demand: You are in charge of the prioritization of initiatives in a holistic (company-wide) view to ensure to hit the strategic goals of the company
- Transparency is key: It is your goal to make the overall portfolio and it’s connection to our strategic goals visible and understandable for all types of stakeholders across the company
- You facilitate meetings and (coaching) workshops with the intend to strengthen processes and empower people to take ownership
- You manage projects and coordinate dedicated project streams if needed
- You demonstrate ownership to improve initiative success measurements and initiate measures to increase quality of our existing performance monitoring
Your Profile
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in portfolio or multi-project management (e.g. PMO)
- You are familiar with both agile and corporate environments and know how to combine them and get the best out of both
- You are experienced in using Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery) and are able to coach others
- You have the ability (and capability) to build collaborative relationships with others and align work with them accordingly
- Your outstanding stakeholder management skills enable you to keep different parties of the organization up to date and present information, outcomes, results, and learnings clearly and effectively to get messages across
- In various meetings, workshops, plannings, etc. you live out your excellent moderation and facilitation skills
- Sherlock Holmes is your role model: You have the eagle eye to identify dependencies and risks and make them transparent on different flight levels
- Conflict Management is your thing: You can deal effectively with others in difficult situations while using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict between people, partners, and internal parties
- Your active listening abilities allow you to objectively consider the ideas and opinions of others - even when they conflict with one’s own. Moreover, you can share thoughts, feelings, and rationale so that others can understand them
