Campus Operations Manager

Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Princeton, New Jersey, an independent, Catholic all-girls PS-12 Sacred Heart School with a mission to educate the whole child and inspire young women to lead lives of exceptional leadership and service, is searching for a Campus Operations Manager.  This position is a working supervisor who is responsible for the oversight, management and performance of daily maintenance and operations, and the management of small projects. They will provide a customer service interface between the facilities department and the School, oversee a small internal staff, and coordinate the work of outside vendors.

Some essential duties include, but are not limited to: maintain campus physical space, ensuring a safe, clean and functional environment; receive, review and approve work requests to be entered into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); maintain working knowledge of building HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems, make assessments and repairs when possible; manage service calls and repairs with outside vendors when required; manage daily HVAC schedules and settings and make adjustments when required; responsible for building start-up at the commencement of each school day; routine boiler checks and log keeping in accordance with state regulations.

 

Minimum job qualifications are:

·         Associates Degree preferred or completion of an accredited trade school program or sufficient combination of education and experience.

·         5 years of technical experience in a facility services environment, including supervisory experience.

·         New Jersey Department of Education background check clearances

·         Black Seal Low Pressure Boiler License (or may be obtained in a reasonable time frame as determined by the School).

·         Valid driver’s license

·         Ability to be active and mobile for most of the work day. This includes the ability to climb stairs and walk outdoors on uneven ground, and carry objects, including boxes, up to 50 pounds.
