| Education: | Four year degree (or comparable work experience) in design, marketing, communications, or related field. | 
| Experience: | ·       10-15 years of successful design experience. · 8-12 years solid web design and other interactive channel experience. Must have significant "mobile” (web, smart and feature phone, tablet) experience. · Management/mentoring experience a plus. | 
| Competencies/Skills: | ·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills · Excellent graphic design skills coupled with the ability to conceptualize and independently design dynamic user interfaces as well as compelling static content layouts. · Ability to design and deliver a UX that is rich, immersive, pleasing, simple, and easy to navigate. · Mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator is required. · Proficiency working on Macintosh Platform is essential. Some Windows experience is required. · Proficiency with smart phone SDKs like: iOS, Android, WebOS, and more. · Designing for iPad and netbooks a plus. · Must have direct final art preparation and production experience. · Is an evangelist in designing for customer needs. · Knowledge and experience developing cohesive brand experiences. Has experience working with and maintaining a Style Guide. · Experience with information architecture, site mapping, interaction flows/maps, wireframing, and usability testing preferred. · Be able to understand the big picture along with expert attention to fine detail. · Be able to convincingly articulate ideas and rationale across the company, including the executive suite. · Avid learner. Stays up to date on latest trends and research in design, and web/mobile technologies. · Must be able to work individually with minimal supervision/mentoring, and as a team. · Ability to work across multiple internal business units and companies. |
