<p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p><p>The Head of Brand & PR will be responsible for overseeing and guiding Shieldpay’s overall brand strategy, ensuring Shieldpay’s brand is consistently represented across all channels and touchpoints. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, this role will be pivotal in shaping how Shieldpay is perceived by customers, stakeholders, and the broader market, positioning Shieldpay as an innovator within the payments and fintech space. </p><p>The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in developing and executing impactful brand and marketing campaigns, obsessing over customer journeys, and driving overall business growth. Whilst this role will be an individual contributor role to begin with, we aspire to grow the function in the future to align with activities and channels where we can drive most impact.<br></p><ul></ul><p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p><p>Brand Strategy Development:</p><ul><li>Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the Shieldpay’s growth goals and company values</li><li>Conduct market research to understand customer perceptions, behaviors, and preferences alongside competitor and market trend analysis to refine the brand strategy and identify opportunities for differentiation.</li><li>Define and articulate the brand’s identity, including its positioning, messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity</li><li>Maintain consistency in the brand’s messaging, imagery, and tone across all channels, including digital, print, social media, and in-person events</li><li>Oversee the development of marketing and communication materials to ensure they reflect the brand guidelines</li><li>Act as the brand guardian, ensuring that all internal and external communications align with the company story and values<strong></strong></li></ul><p>Brand Campaigns and Thought Leadership:</p><ul><li>Lead the development and execution of brand campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty across various media platforms.</li><li>Drive the conversation in our identified target markets, changing hearts and minds with compelling, emotive and innovative content and stories.</li><li>Ensure all campaigns align with the brand’s core values and business objectives.</li><li>Liaise with external agencies, media partners, and vendors to develop and execute brand initiatives.</li><li>Collaborate with product, technology, sales, and customer service teams to ensure the brand is represented accurately and effectively in all areas of the business.</li><li>Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of brand strategies and campaigns through data analytics, customer feedback, and market research to assess impact and ROI.</li></ul><ul></ul><p><strong>What we're looking for in you</strong></p><ul><li>Experience: proven experience in brand marketing, ideally having worked in finance, payments or banking previously. </li><li>Strategic thinking: Ability to develop long-term brand strategies that align with business objectives.</li><li>Creativity: A strong creative vision to help shape the brand’s identity and campaigns.</li><li>Leadership: Ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally to achieve brand goals.</li><li>Analytical skills: Strong understanding of data, metrics, and market research to track brand performance and make informed decisions.</li><li>Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate the brand’s message and values.</li><li>Project management: Capable of managing multiple branding initiatives and campaigns simultaneously. </li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Our promise</strong></p><p style="text-align:justify;">Shieldpay is an equal opportunities employer.
