RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our client in the transport and logistics industry. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely processing of goods and materials. You will work closely with a team of warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Ensure accurate inventory control, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to improve warehouse efficiency
- Monitor and maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of goods
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring excellent customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in the transport and logistics industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
