Senior Engineer

Title: Senior Engineer (2 positions available: Sr. Systems Engineer & Sr. Network Engineer)

Location: Within 2-hour commute of Lima, Ohio

Type: 6-month contract-to-hire OR Full-time/Direct Hire

Onsite: Hybrid, travel to client site(s)

On-call Rotation Schedule: 1 week once every 12 to 13 weeks

 

Our client is a multi-service technology solutions provider and headquartered in Lima, OH with multiple OH office locations (Toledo, Findlay, Mansfield, Columbus, Dayton) and Fort Wayne, IN.

 

Our client is growing and seeking to add two Senior Engineers (Sr. Systems Engineer & Sr. Network Engineer) to join their Service Operations Team. This resource will be responsible for supporting client projects and break/fix requests.

 

The Senior Engineers will typically travel to client sites 3x/week with 2x/week work-from-home. Client locations are within a 2-hour commute radius of Lima, OH. Ideal location for this resource will be someone who lives along the I-75 corridor.

 

Requirements:

• Strong client-facing skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience working with 3rd party vendors
• Experience upgrading switches, upgrading servers, migrating data from one server to another, performing O365/Exchange migrations, plus more.
• Experience working for a solutions provider, B2B setting.

• Servers - Windows, HP, MS SQL Server
• Firewall - Cisco, Fortigate
• Virtualization - VMWare
• Wireless - Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti
