STORES OPERATIVE

OVERVIEW:
Working as a full time Stores Operative, you will be responsible for processing all incoming deliveries, the control and issuing of raw materials including the operation of a band saw and the safe packing of finished parts for delivery to customers. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Maintaining accurate inventory

o Providing on time delivery of material to the machines

o Assisting multiple teams by supplying and returning material to stores

o Loading and unloading of courier vehicles

o Operating Band Saw

o Packaging finished goods to company standards and SOP’s

o Operate company fork truck and lifting equipment

REQUIRED:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient computer skills

o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

o Highly motivated, self-directed

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

o Prior material handling experience

o Hold a Fork Truck and reach truck license
