Position Title: Job Analysis and Organizational Design Specialist 
Function: People Strategy 
Supervisor Title: Sr. Director, People Analytics & Talent Management 

Job Overview: 

We are looking for a Job Analysis and Organizational Design Specialist to assess and accurately level jobs across RBI, focus on organization design initiatives, and support key talent programs. You will work closely with our People Business Partners, Talent Management and Compensation Lead, and other members of the People area, and Business Leaders to elevate our approach, processes, and tools related to job evaluation, job profile maintenance, and org design. The role entails recommending, developing, implementing, and monitoring job evaluation and job profile practices and processes aligned to RBI’s talent and compensation philosophy.  

Your Key Responsibilities: 

Job Analysis 

  • Conduct job evaluations using the Korn Ferry Hay methodology for new or revised roles, in a timely, consistent, and defensible manner 
  • Package and present meaningful data and/or research into the development of job evaluation recommendations
  • Utilize and maintain a job evaluation tool to provide quicker insight to our internal HR team
  • Develop and deliver internal training materials to assist our HR Team on inputs required for job analysis 

Organizational Design 

  • Design and maintain organizational design rules, such as span of control in different business units 
  • Create, update, and maintain job architecture data in Workday to drive greater consistency and transparency across talent and compensation programs; conduct audits regularly
  • Design, build, utilize, and maintain a new org assessment and gap analysis tool to provide quicker insight to our internal HR team
  • Upload and maintain finalized job descriptions in Workday
  • Conducts regular audits of the organizational structure and recommends changes to make the organization more efficient 

Talent Management Programs 

  • Assist Talent Management team with talent programs including talent assessments, succession planning, and career management 

Reporting and Governance 

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and share insights related to organization design, spans and layers, and related activities 
  • Assist in preparing analysis and materials for Board/executive management review meetings and other leadership presentations 
  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset to ensure all new and current job governance processes and practices are designed, regularly reviewed, consistently utilized, and streamlined for maximum efficiency and effectiveness
  • Research and analyze external market, leading industry trends, and best practices on job evaluations and org design to identify improvement/enhancement opportunities, and share recommendations with team leaders 

 Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR, with at least 1 year of experience in job evaluation for complex organizations
  • Minimum 1 year expertise in relevant organization design
  • BA/BS in business, HR, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Adheres to timelines and prioritizes effectively to ensure timely deliverables
  • Self-starter with a high level of discretion with highly sensitive / confidential data
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to take concepts and express them concisely and effectively for all levels across the organization
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in support of goals
  • Ability to build strong relationships, establish trust, influence decision-making and gain consensus on solutions across organizational levels
  • Highly organized, proven attention to accuracy and detail
  • Thrives in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
