We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Athens or Thessaloniki.

As a Project Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in lighting design principles, energy-efficient technologies, and project management to deliver innovative and sustainable lighting solutions.

Your role will encompass:

• Preparation of technical specifications in line with projects technical requirements
• Development of technical studies
• Development of drawings, schematics, cable lists, wiring diagrams
• Drafting RfQs for equipment
• Preparation of bills of materials
• Evaluation of technical offers from suppliers
• Technical review and coordination of the deliverable design documents from suppliers
• Coordinate technical interfaces
• Meetings with suppliers/customer abroad
• Technical support to other company departments (sales, erection, commissioning, etc,)
• Technical review of documentation prepared by the team members
• In general, participation at every stage of a project or projects execution following the project(s) time schedule regarding the electrical design
• Working with senior designers and project managers to provide excellent lighting design services to clients

What you bring to the role: 

• University degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of Lighting Design experience
• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and Dialux
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD MEP shall be considered an advantage
• Good background in electrical systems, familiar with international and European standards
• Experience of lighting design principles, lighting fixture, lighting plans, lighting schedules, and lighting specification package
• Experience with general understanding of the requirements of electrical installations, circuitry, load, voltage and familiarity with electrical codes.
• Experience in power plant EPC projects shall be considered an advantage.
• High level of personal initiative and team spirit
• Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
