Field Technician – Metal & Stone

- Position is based in our Arlington, VA office and the opening is immediate.
- Seeking an experienced technician (a year or more of hands-on experience) for refinishing/restoration work on metal and stone.
- Expected to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled physical labor and tasks following established procedures and processes as assigned and as directed by a Forman or Supervisor.
- Expected to be able to clean, prepare, refinish, and restore metal and stone/marble surfaces in a safe and efficient manner.
- This includes stripping, polishing, removing scratches, and with attention to grain, surface textures, and unique qualities of various metals and stones.
- Work is physical in nature, must be able to lift 50 pounds, and much of the work is performed at night and in the early morning hours.
- A High School diploma is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English and hold a valid Driver's License with less than 6 points on your record.
- Compensation is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
Note: Start time for the job is approximately 6:30 am. they must have reliable transportation to get to the jobsite. (No experience required and they will be trained and supervised on site. This is a jean and work boot type job – environment is outside).
