About the role:
Come help us build Kong India! In this role you will report directly to the Director of Technical Recruiting and partner with our Engineering, Product, and GTM Recruiters to hire and scale our cross-functional teams across India. You will be exposed to building and executing a worldwide expansion strategy as a Sr. Sourcer with the opportunity to build and lead a team in the future. This person will also get to plan and manage recruiting events, activities and be the face of the company to all candidates.
What You'll Do
- Support the recruiting team by consistently generating a healthy pipeline of high quality candidates for technical and non-technical roles
- Partner with hiring managers and interview teams to understand their hiring needs and goals
- Create and execute unique and effective sourcing strategies and techniques to find top talent
- Engage, screen and schedule candidates for relevant openings and assist them through the recruitment process; provide a quality professional recruiting experience
- Be the market knowledge expert and provide insights to recruiting and hiring managers at the company
- Assist with driving initiatives and developing processes -- referral program, company happiness, retention, training, ect.
- Become a brand ambassador and help with networking and recruiting events
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in a Technical Sourcing role technical with experience finding and engaging world class TSE, CRE, and Engineering candidates (bonus points for GTM/G&A recruiting experience).
- Deep understanding of the local technical landscape as it pertains to fast growth, late stage start-ups, as this will be your primary competitors for talent.
- Using data - both quantitative and qualitative - to influence hiring managers and leaders
- Ability to challenge ideas and effectively influence others
- Ability to distill complex information into a consumable and organized format with a focus on content, tone and structure
- Familiarity with relevant sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, etc.)
- Great collaborator and partner to HRBPs, Finance, and other internal stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience Sourcing across APJ or EMEA also a plus
