Marketing Specialist

S&T is expanding our Marketing Team and is seeking a talented Specialist to help strengthen our long-standing, locally grown brand. Stretch your creative legs through your graphic designs, website development, and social media strategies. Use your unique eye to enhance promotional campaigns for our products & services, and help highlight the cooperative and communities in Western Kansas by creating engaging content.

Responsibilities:

• Create graphic design solutions for internal & external distribution.
• Maintain & design corporate website.
• Develop & implement strategies and techniques to enhance Search Engine Optimization (SEO) activities.
• Oversee, design, & maintain social media sites.
• Design, coordinate, & execute promotional campaigns.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• 2-3 years of marketing experience, required.
• 1-2 years of graphic design and/or public relations, preferred.
• Valid Kansas driver’s license with a good driving record.

• Knack for communicating effectively before groups of customers, employees and the public.
• Strong multi-tasker with the ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple work assignments.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret marketing, sales, and financial reports.
• High integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
• Self-motivated and team oriented.
• Passionate and enthusiastic about the field of expertise.

Other Skills & Abilities: PC proficiency (primarily in a Windows environment) is essential, as is a strong working knowledge of Google Suites and advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and various other office tools.
