Position: IT Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 /yrly
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer you will responsible for all of our client’s IT systems. Based out of North Carolina (either Denver or Charlotte area), you will be responsible for the IT systems at the corporate office as well as for onsite events, including connectivity for the various systems and to ensure that said systems and applications are online and available.IT Engineer- Attend all track tests and race events—15 to 20 events a year. 16 based in the US usually for about 4 to 5 days over a weekend, and 1 based in Europe for about 18 to 20 days.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft products, including Windows Server, Office 365 & Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking products, including switching, routing and wireless devices.
- Manage all aspects of support and day to day IT Infrastructure operations, examples include;
- Provide the IT infrastructure and the necessary support at the various locations, resolving complex IT issues.
- Support connectivity, data transfer and simulator operations between the various locations, ensuring smooth running of data operations between each of our sites.
- Getting infrastructure operationally ready for each race event, working with the team on the ground remotely to bring IT infrastructure up and in line with desired standards.
- Ensuring reliability of infrastructure and operational systems to the relevant race support functions. Including working with the series suppliers to consume the standardized technology.
- Ability to provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to end users, managing issues from start to finish.
- Able to manage budget and purchasing requirements.
- 5+ years in a similar role with preference given to those with relevant background and past experience with similar travel.
