The Role

The role of Product Director will be responsible for e-Procurement,  ESG and e-Invoicing solutions. You will be at forefront of shaping our products’ future market positioning. Your creativity and passion for building something remarkable will be pivotal in our success. The role owner will be reporting to the BU Group GM.

Your contribution to the success of the team

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Develop and execute product strategy: Leverage your creativity to identify market opportunities, analyze customer needs, and prioritize features. Map out a roadmap that outlines how we’ll achieve our vision
  • Incorporate feedback and insights from companies’ R&D teams and assess priorities based on business needs
  • Help Shape Business Unit vision, by mapping where each product/solution lands on the customer journey. Help design cross-sell, up-sell approaches depending on the customer

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams: You’ll work closely with these teams to bring your product vision to life. Foster a collaborative environment where ideas flow freely, and everyone contributes to the product’s success
  • Collaborate with Marketing, with R&D, and with Sales, within the Business Unit, in order to identify Marketing Collaterals that we need to create, case studies and other elements that we need to publicly communicate in order to generate awareness and gain share of voice, in the market
  • Understand pricing models, assess competitive landscape and help generate proper pricing strategy, for new and existing product, based on customer size and segment (direct sales and channel sales). Each company requires a different approach

Bridge the gap between technical and business aspects:

  • Translate technical complexities into business terms and vice versa. Ensure alignment across teams to deliver a cohesive product experience
  • Influence Product Development and Innovation
  • Assess overlaps and opportunities among products and solutions, across the companies within the same Business Unit
  • See, how we can design a customer journey that leverages customer base of one company to drive upsell to the other company

Customer-Centric Mindset:

  • Distinguish Approach for Direct Sales and Indirect Channel Sales
  • Understand customer needs: Conduct customer surveys and analyze data. Use this understanding to shape product decisions
  • Advocate for the end customer: Ensure that our products delight and solve real-world problems. Strive for intuitive interfaces and seamless experiences

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate progress and setbacks: Keep executives, stakeholders, and team members informed
  • Advocate for resources: Articulate the value of your product initiatives to secure necessary resources

Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in product management or a related role, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Deep understanding of market research, product development processes, and agile methodologies
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional products and user experiences
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
