Position: Construction Project Engineer
Location: Boston, MA (On Site)
Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 / yrly
A highly reputable, national developer/builder is seeking a Project Engineer (Multi-family) to join their team in the Boston, MA area.
The Project Engineer is responsible for preparing comprehensive project logistics and action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budget activities. He/she will perform various coordinating tasks, as well as assigned project administration, such as Request For Information Submittals and all product submittals to project architects, designers, subcontractors and ownership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.)
Collaborate with architects, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to determine the
standards and specifications for the project.
Break assignments into achievable and measurable segments.
Assist with assigning tasks to internal teams.
Assist with project document maintenance.
Assist with sourcing and managing all required resources (Client, equipment, materials) for the project with attention to budgetary limitations.
Obtain permits and licenses from the appropriate authorities.
Assist with planning and coordinating all construction operations, logistics and schedule functions to ensure deadlines and project delivery dates are achieved.
Accurately evaluate project progress, by the use of both financial and schedule matrices, and prepare and deliver to senior corporate staff, project ownership groups and local governing municipalities. Reporting is a daily, weekly and monthly function throughout the life cycle of the project.
