This role is based in Berlin and reporting into our SVP People, Johannes Willberg.

What you’ll do
- Strategic Partnership:
- Act as a key strategic partner to the SVP People and Senior People Leadership Team globally, identifying and prioritizing initiatives that set our organization up for long-term success.
- Build OKRs on function and department levels globally, linking both global and local People Teams to drive alignment and progress towards strategic goals.
- Program and Crisis Management:
- Drive decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation, prioritising the highest ROI initiatives.
- Champion incident and crisis management frameworks, including response and recovery plans, and take the lead in implementation to ensure organizational resilience.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Together with our People Special Projects team, work across the people organization to oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads.
- Establish strong relationships with people and business stakeholders to increase efficiency and responsiveness of existing and future initiatives and hold them accountable for their commitments.
- Meeting and Decision Facilitation:
- Manage and structure meetings esp. in the senior leadership team, ensuring efficient use of time and facilitating productive discussions by pre-empting questions to steer conversations.
- Facilitate effective decision-making, follow-ups, and prioritization of critical matters.
- Analytical and Strategic Insights:
- Write white papers and provide ad-hoc analyses on various business and people topics, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
- Use cross-functional knowledge to understand issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence the business and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Interim People Management:
- Take over interim people management responsibilities for functions in transition, ensuring continuity and effective leadership during periods of change.
What you’ll bring
- Experience and Expertise:
- Proven experience and capabilities in working closely with executive-level leadership.
- Ideally, proven track record of successfully leading a People Domain and delivering outstanding results.
- Project and Conflict Management:
- Exceptional project management skills, with a talent for creating clarity and process where others see ambiguity.
- Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to harmonise communication topics effectively.
- Strategic and Analytical Skills:
- Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans, driving decision-making and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to consult, influence, and partner with senior leaders to develop and execute strategies that drive business performance.
- Influencing and Communication Skills:
- Strong influencing skills, comfortable with context-switching and working across multiple functions and projects.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Leadership and Organizational Impact:
- Lead by example, admired and respected within your organization.
- Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to dive into data, build models, and develop data-driven answers.
