Distribution Center Manager (3PL)

Mandate:

Reporting to the Vice President of Contract Logistics, the Distribution Center Manager will manage and monitor the performance of all KPIs for the distribution center. The candidate will play a critical role in staffing requirements for all departments, including receiving, shipping, inventory, VAS, and returns. The candidate will also ensure proper resource planning and productivity measurement and will be accountable for monthly billing and financial P&L (profit and loss). Additionally, the candidate will maintain adherence to green KPIs, health and safety standards, and good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.

Other Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with vendors for facility maintenance and equipment preventative maintenance programs.

• Validate and sign off on daily, weekly, and monthly invoices.

• Reconcile weekly payroll and attendance records for staff members.

• Uphold company policies and procedures, as well as cost-saving and quality measures.

• Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role and/or 3PL warehousing environment

• Experience with staff management is considered an asset

• Strong business acumen and knowledge of 3PL warehouse operations and profit & loss management

• Knowledge of RF enabled Warehouse Management System, Inventory Management & Process Flows

• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel; must be able to prepare and analyze inventory system reports and monthly billing
