Indirect Tax Manager - EMEA

We excel in delivering sustainable solutions, unparalleled reliability, and outstanding customer service. As we expand, we're seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join our team.

The role will serve as a trusted adviser on international indirect taxation matters (excluding the US), focusing on strategic advisory, project management, and overseeing compliance processes and responsible to manage the day-to-day VAT affairs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enhancements in tax reporting procedures by optimizing system functionality, ensuring data accuracy, streamlining workflows, and utilizing outsourced resources
• Oversee tax aspects in finance and IT projects, such as system upgrades and tax software evaluations
• Collaborate closely with finance teams to ensure that changes in business operations and legislation are communicated effectively in regard to tax impacts.
• Participate in monthly financial closing activities, ensuring accurate reporting and taking responsibilities for reconciliation of tax accounts as per actual submissions made
• Stay informed on indirect tax changes globally and assess their potential business impacts.
• Assist the tax department in executing international tax strategies and driving expansion in global markets.
• Handle various ad hoc projects as needed.
• Being the go-to contact person for the Corporation on any VAT issues and queries (including overseas offices)

Desired Experiences/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in a professional services or data center background a plus
• Experience in working with outsourced service providers
• Regional EMEA experience
• Able to communicate well within the organization as remote employee
• Possess positive attitude & team-player with a customer service mindset
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar accounting software package a plus
• Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Must possess strong project management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
