We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Security Solutions Architect to join our Denver branch. This role is crucial in driving our security practice, balancing responsibilities between presales activities and the delivery/implementation of security solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft security products, cloud and multi-cloud environments, and the use of various tools and frameworks to complete vulnerability assessments.
A Day in the Life:
- Presales and Solution Design (50%):
- Collaborate with sales teams to conduct comprehensive security assessments of client environments, identifying potential risks and security gaps.
- Develop and present security solutions tailored to client needs, with a focus on deploying Microsoft security products and other security technologies.
- Perform thorough assessments using tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7, and frameworks like OWASP and NIST to identify areas of potential risk and recommend improvements.
- Work with the sales team to craft proposals, including designing security solutions and addressing client requirements.
- Delivery and Implementation (50%):
- Oversee the deployment and integration of security solutions, including Microsoft security products like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure Security Center.
- Ensure that security solutions are effectively implemented in cloud and multi-cloud environments, adhering to industry best practices.
- Manage and lead security projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the implementation process, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Monitor the performance of deployed solutions, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments as required.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of IT security experience, with a strong background in designing and implementing security solutions in cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Proven experience in deploying Microsoft security products (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, Azure Security Center) and conducting vulnerability assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in presales activities, including client assessments, solution design, and proposal development.
- Experience with tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, and familiarity with frameworks like OWASP and NIST.
- Expertise in security operations disciplines such as SOC, Incident Response, Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM), and compliance.
- Excellent ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are highly desirable.
