Platform Services Operations Administrator 1 (Production Support)

These positions will be located in our Tampa, FL office and require a hybrid work schedule (day shifts)

Deepwatch provides critical cybersecurity products and services to power the cyber defense for enterprises which makes the digital world a safer place for folks like you and me. Using cybersecurity best practices, you will monitor and secure complex customer environments utilizing  industry leading technology such as SIEM, Hyper-automation, and more.

 

Candidates will be expected to work within a 24/7/365 hybrid team environment

Multiple 4 x 10 shifts available (est time zone):

6a-5p (Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday

8a-7p (Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday)

7p-6a (Sunday - Wednesday)

7p-6a (Wednesday - Saturday)

 

In this role, you’ll get to:

 

  • Administer Service Solutions: Manage the basic administration tasks associated with EDR, Firewall, MDR, and Vulnerability Management solutions to ensure their optimal performance and functionality
  • Triage Alerts and Service Requests: Quickly assess and prioritize alerts and service requests, following predefined procedures and escalation paths as necessary
  • Utilize Runbooks: Adhere to established runbooks and standard operating procedures to resolve issues efficiently and consistently
  • Escalate to Engineering: Identify and escalate complex issues or those requiring engineering intervention to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on operations
  • Respond to Alerts: Respond promptly to alerts generated by monitoring platforms, investigating and resolving issues or escalating as appropriate
  • Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and security, to coordinate responses and ensure seamless service delivery
  • Communicate with customers: Communicate clearly and concisely with customers regarding service incidents, resolutions, and any necessary follow-up actions
  • Document: Provide detailed work notes and summaries for both internal records and customer-facing communication, ensuring transparency and accountability

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:

 

  • Demonstrate experience managing incidents and handling escalations
  • Possess experience with Hyper-automation, Ticketing Systems, and ITSM environments within ITIL organizations
  • Analyze & triage alerts with a mix of ticket resolution and researching events
  • Have a minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a helpdesk, service desk, or SOC environment and experience in the administration of multiple security solutions, such as EDR, Firewall, MXDR, and Vulnerability Management
  • Understand security principles and practices with a focus on improving customer security posture
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work well under pressure and have effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Be available to work 4 days a week on a 10-hour shift basis, within a 24/7 team environment
  • Desired certification: Security+ or equivalent

 

ITAR Compliance

This position will have access to customer data and as such is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Upon application, candidates will be asked to confirm that they are a U.S. Person as defined by the following:

The anticipated hourly range for this role is between $30.00-36.00 dollars per hour + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
