Overview:
Improvix Technologies is seeking a skilled CCB (Change Control Board) Manager to support the Department of State’s Application Development Division (ADD) under a 5-year contract. This role is fully remote and requires a Secret Clearance. The CCB Manager will act as a key liaison between the SE-Tools government FTE manager and the project team, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaison Role: Serve as the primary point of contact between the SE-Tools government FTE manager and the technical team, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- Change Control Oversight: Manage the Change Control Board process, facilitating the review, approval, and implementation of change requests across multiple projects.
- Strategic Alignment: Provide direct support to ensure project objectives align with the overall goals of the SE-Tools division and the Department of State.
- Operational Efficiency: Foster effective communication and coordination between the government FTE manager and team members to optimize project workflows and resolve any bottlenecks.
- Documentation & Reporting: Oversee the documentation of all change requests, decisions, and actions, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting to stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify and address risks related to change implementation, working closely with stakeholders to mitigate any potential impacts on project timelines or outcomes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the CCB process to enhance efficiency, communication, and project delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a CCB Manager or similar role, preferably within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Familiarity with SE-Tools or similar systems engineering tools is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple change requests and project workflows.
- Ability to work remotely with distributed teams, ensuring smooth operations across different locations.
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
