Student Assistant - Cyber Security

We are seeking a new Student Assistant to join our Cyber Security Team in Global IT.
You will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Cyber Security Team operations by assisting with incident and ticket handling
• Pitching in on Cyber Security projects
• Managing security controls such as penetration tests
• Enhancing Cyber Security Awareness by building and maintaining security controls, ensuring compliance, and contributing to documentation.

You will be based in our HQ in Hellerup and work closely together with the team, consisting of highly experienced Cyber Security professionals, who are happy to share their knowledge and support you as you learn.

As Student Assistant, you will get hands-on experience with Cyber Security technologies. We know the value of getting broad experience and we aim to give you different tasks, from SOC operations to security awareness. We value personal growth and would like to support your journey. Depending on your goals and profile we will mentor you and help you grow within your areas of interest.

What We Expect:
You are currently enrolled in either a Bachelor’s or Master’s program studying a relevant degree.

Furthermore, you are:

• An independent person who can handle tasks with minimal supervision
• A quick learner who is motivated by doing tasks you have not tried before and not afraid to learn from your mistakes
• Structured and detail-oriented
• Business-minded and curious to understand how IT can enable others to succeed

While not a requirement, it is a bonus if you have knowledge of Microsoft Defender and / or log and ticket handling.

Work hours: 15-20 hours per week. We want you to balance your work and studies effectively and therefore we offer flexibility where possible to support you.
