Provides timely support to the end user regarding system application development, implementation, training and trouble-shooting. The incumbent works with statistical programming management to identify end user needs, applications to support standards and facilitate creation, validation and output generation. The incumbent provides local and global leadership for application development from user requirements through implementation and end user training. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring all department and corporate standards and processes are followed throughout the project development lifecycle.
Skills:Extensive experience in research and development of applications and toolkits for end-users.
Extensive experience in the development and execution of project user requirements, system design, validation plans, development and implementation.
Extensive experience in developing reporting systems utilizing multiple data delivery applications.
Experience with other programming languages such as C+, JAVA, etc. typically used for software development in a global environment.
Extensive experience in development and delivery of training material for use of standardized systems.
Understanding of regulatory requirements concerning electronic submission standards with particular emphasis on eCTD deliverables.
Experience in the creation of current CDISC data structures.
Thorough understanding of relational database structures and their correlation to submission ready database structures.
Collaborative teamwork and interpersonal skills that demonstrate initiative and motivation. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a global environment.
Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines for the development of tools to facilitate creation and execution of statistical deliverables by the end-user.
Education:Must have a science degree and 5+ years working in a pharmaceutical / research environment. Advanced degree in Science or Mathematics
