Purpose:
The Hub Waste Checker is required to ensure compliance through adhering to procedures to properly checking in incoming drums to the facility

 

Specific Duties:

• Responsible for engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors in a manner that is consistent with all CC safety guidelines
• Adhere to procedure to ensure incoming drums are properly checked in from incoming trailers
• Tag drums with appropriate labeling to identify which TSD waste is being routed to
• Identify problems between paperwork and drums received or not received
• Verify paperwork and drums are logged properly into internal system
• Scanning of waste drums in and out of facility
• Move waste to appropriate TSD trailer
• Ensure compliance by confirming waste is moved within 10 days
• Inputs waste information from drivers into the Crystal Clean computer program
• Assist Hub Manager with maintaining accurate records of Hub activity
• Adhere to all corporate policies and standards including, but not limited to: environmental and regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenance
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Core Competencies and Specific Skills:

• Strong communication skills, attention to details, and strong initiative to complete tasks
• Ability to operate equipment such as mobile phone, scanners, computers, etc.
• Crystal Clean Management System (CCMS) experience preferred 

 

Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

  

Work Environment*:

While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works in a variety of environments, and is required to see, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, drive frequently, and comfortably use electronic devices and other office equipment. Essential duties require bending, squatting, climbing, lifting and twisting frequently. Noise level in the workplace can vary based upon the work environment.
