The Role: Senior WordPress Developer

Location: Bangalore

As a WordPress Developer at ColorTokens, Inc., you are an essential member of our technical team responsible for driving our web presence and optimizing marketing operations. Your proficiency in WordPress development and Optimization.

Your impact

·        Development, and maintenance of the company's WordPress-based website.

·        Create interactive and visually appealing designs using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

·        Take ownership of improving the website's SEO performance to drive organic traffic.

·        Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and marketers, to continually  improve website design, functionality, and architecture.

·        Focus on optimizing website performance, speed, and responsiveness to ensure seamless user experiences.

·        Develop reusable code and libraries for future use, streamlining development processes.

·        Implement best practices to secure website against vulnerabilities and attacks.

 

Required Skills:

   ·      5+ years in WordPress development, including theme creation, customization, and plugin development.

·         Solid Knowledge in HTML 5, CSS, JS, jQuery, Sass, Grunt.js

·         Experience with Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.

·         In-depth understanding of SEO best practices and techniques.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

·         Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.

·         Knowledge of Yoast SEO & Yoast SEO Premium, Gutenberg Block Development, Advanced Custom   Fields integration to existing themes.

·         Knowledge of Git and Bitbucket, code versioning.

·         Knowledge of Caching and how to work with it.

·         Knowledge of managing WordPress plugins without affecting site performance.
