Harvard Law School's Food Law and Policy Clinic (FLPC) seeks a dedicated Clinical Instructor to join our dynamic team. In this position, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of food law and policy by guiding students as they tackle cutting edge issues within the food system.
What you'll do:- Mentor future food law leaders: Inspire, teach, and supervise law students as they take on real-world food policy issues. Issues range from promoting sustainable agriculture to advocating for equitable food access.
- Drive impactful projects: Manage a portfolio of key FLPC initiatives, from designing policy projects to cultivating strong relationships with partners and funders. You'll also have the chance to develop new projects aligning with your expertise and interests.
- Forge powerful partnerships: Connect with external organizations and communities working on food policy issues. By collaborating, you'll build a network that amplifies your collective impact.
- Share your knowledge: Deliver presentations and trainings, represent the clinic at conferences, and support the development of classroom courses related to food law and policy.
- Contribute to a thriving team: Support the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including event planning, student outreach, and communications.
Who we're looking for:- An attorney with a JD degree and at least three years of experience in food policy, legal services, or a related field.
- A passionate advocate for food systems justice who has a strong desire to use the law to create positive change.
- A strong leader with excellent mentoring skills who can inspire and motivate others.
- A teammate with a collaborative spirit and talent for building strong relationships.
- An outstanding communicator and innovative problem-solver.
