SummaryWe are looking to hire a Mathematics Academic Coordinator to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for monitoring tutors, ensuring that their performance and the sessions they give meet the required standards, and facilitating communication between the tutors and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Discipline Supervisor in assessing and shortlisting potential tutors to take final selection decisions
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for newly hired freelance tutors to familiarize them with Nagwa’s apps and the work process
- Manage the online schedule for each tutor to avoid any scheduling conflicts when tutors are assigned multiple classes
- Deliver the materials to tutors in a timely manner, enabling them to adequately prepare for sessions and deliver exceptional classes
- Assist the Discipline Supervisor in handling tutors' requests, scheduling changes, and technical issues to enhance the overall student experience
- Evaluate tutors' performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques to ensure compliance with the required standards
- Communicate with tutors regarding the timely arrival of their monthly compensation
- Collaborate with the Discipline Supervisor to review tutors' feedback on session materials and effectively communicate it to our Content Team, facilitating continuous improvement in the content delivered to students
- Support the Discipline Supervisor in keeping all tutors informed of any changes in policies and procedures, ensuring alignment across the tutor teams
Qualifications and Work Experience- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 1+ years of experience in the education field
- Very good command of both written and spoken English
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- A strong sense of responsibility
