EDC Machine Shop Technician
18 Months extendable contract
Atlanta, GA- onsite
Pay Rate: $38.24/hr on w2 Equipment building and Prototyping services for Material and Packaging Characterization (M&PC), Research to Experimentation (RtE), TCCC. Resource will work under the direction and supervision of M&PC, RtE, TCCC.
Services requested from organization under this SOW:
• Maintain, utilize, and assess Technical Innovation Center shop tools.
• Maintain records of shop usage for internal innovation center and business partner projects.
• Coordinate access to tools, following M&PC guidelines.
• Identify quantitative job factors and enter data for factors, as applicable.
• Lead production efforts for larger scale prototype development programs (e.g., vending machine robots).
• Make recommendations for scale-up protocols based on lessons learned.
• Identify materials and tools needed to address a custom tool, component, or equipment request.
• Use available resources to machine and create parts.
