TEAM
Enterprise AI is a dedicated team committed to delivering a comprehensive AI platform. This platform offers a seamless end-to-end machine learning tooling experience, accelerating the development of modern technology such as autonomous driving, ADAS, and more.
As the Technical Program Manager within the Enterprise AI team, you will collaborate with our engineering and operations teams and customers across Woven by Toyota and Toyota Group. You will work with primary users and manage contractors from our partner companies. You will oversee annotation services within Enterprise AI, managing both internal and vendor resources to meet delivery and quality targets.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
You will ensure excellent customer experience and guide improvements on our platform. You will bridge the gap between customers and engineering teams. You will lead the Japan data labeling operations as part of the Global Annotation team, and oversee a diverse team of globally distributed contingent workers and offshore vendors with the mission of delivering high-quality labeled data to internal customers and customers across Toyota Group. You will also work with the internal engineering team that develops data pipelines as they build world-class data labeling engines and modern automotive AI solutions. You will report to the team manager for data annotation in Japan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage relationships with internal and external machine learning teams to ensure excellent customer experience and resolve any issues promptly
- Develop and use metrics to measure customer satisfaction, identify gaps, and lead meaningful improvements
- Lead annotation operations as part of the global team, managing contingent workers and offshore vendors to deliver high-quality data
- Collaborate with customers, team members, and vendor partners to ensure clear communication and keep projects on track and up to quality standards
- Come to the office 3 days per week per our hybrid work policy
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in program management, analytics, or customer service
- 2+ years of people management and/or project lead experience
- Experience defining program requirements, tracking to timelines and using metrics to guide operational improvements
- 2+ years using data-driven or quantitative analysis techniques to solve business problems
- Fluent in English and Japanese
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience in automotive, mobility, AI, ML, and platform-related products
- Basic programming ability, especially with Python
- SQL skills for data analysis to determine improvement opportunities
- Experience managing external relationships
- Experience delivering high-volume labeled data to ML and AI teams
- Experience managing cross-functional projects with Jira
- Strong experience with data pipeline technologies
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
