Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Short-Term Gas Trader to join our dynamic team at Cobblestone. You will have the autonomy to oversee and execute trading strategies within the continental gas markets, leveraging your expertise to capitalize on market opportunities and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short-term trading strategies across all of Europe, with a focus on identifying profitable opportunities while managing risk exposure.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and developments to inform trading decisions and provide regular market commentary to senior management.
- Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and market developments in the gas trading industry and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.
- Collaborate with other traders, analysts, and risk management teams to develop and implement effective trading strategies.
Requirements
- A track record of success in gas trading, with at least one year of experience in trading across all of Europe.
- Experience in transport and storage optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically, with a proven ability to make sound trading decisions in fast-paced environments.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in Algorithmic/Automated Trading is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience in short-term proprietary speculative trading is an advantage.
