Sales Analyst

JOB PURPOSE (JOB SUMMARY):

Data visibility is the engine of decision making at Lala US.  The Grocery Team Sales Analyst will make an immediate impact by supporting the grocery channel sales managers with data & trend analysis.  The ideal candidate loves data and wakes up every day excited to get to hunt for the next insight and can format/organize data in a way that highlights the insights quickly for the end user.  This person is highly organized with a proactive mindset and a desire to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment,

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

·        Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including sales data and market research.

·        Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to gain a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and sales performance.

·        Identify sales opportunities and develop fact-based selling stories using consumption, shipment, & customer’s POS to grow sales.

·        Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure sales effectiveness and track progress towards goals.

·        Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and support decision-making.

·        Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights.

·        Communicate findings effectively to sales teams, marketing teams, and senior leadership through clear and concise presentations.

·        Develop, foster, and improve business relationships both internally and externally that lead to mutually achieving objectives

WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

·        2+ years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, or a similar role.

·        Experience with 84.51, Nielsen, and Numerator, or similar data sources

·        Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).

·        Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).

·        Knowledge of the CPG industry and retail landscape.

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·        Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.

FORMAL EDUCATION:

·        Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Business or other relevant discipline

WORKING CONDITIONS

·        Normal office/virtual environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.

·        The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is necessary.

·        Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending on the project or assignment.
