Job Title: Director of Surgical Services
Location: Hopewell, VA
Duration: Full-time No Weekends

Job Summary
The role of Director of Surgical Services leads the perioperative team by focusing on safe patient care while effectively managing operations.
The Director of Surgical Services has 24/7 responsibility for their departments.

What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
3+ years of experience in a leadership role
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required.
Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.
Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred.

Additional Details:
Ideal candidate experience:
Surgical Services leadership experience required (Manager or Director experience)
BSN required.

Overview
4 ORs, 3 Endo Rooms
Strong ortho program doing a lot of hips and knees, Mako Robot. General surgery – will launch DaVinci robot.
Sports medicine physician – shoulders, small joints.
A surgeon from a sister facility is going to open a clinic to restart GYN in November.
7 cases on a light day, up to 26 on busy day. On call for weekends

Director is over all areas of surgical services – OR, SPD, pre post, PACU, endo.
Great relationship with anesthesia
