Demand Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop effective demand forecast models based on demand patterns and sales trends (using SQL and Tableau) to achieve YoY accuracy goals.
• Improve forecast accuracy by categorizing sales trends and demand drivers. Maintain master data and sales plan to optimize ERP (Relex planning system) by reinforcement learning.
• Monitor cost of inventory ($5M+) by triggering alerts (using SQL) to identify SKUs with overstock and expiration issues, execute depletion plans on inventory utilization.
• Conduct Sales Plan with Purchasing Team for inventory estimation, promotion, and revenue boost by using SQL to pull historical data for balancing out of stock and overstock issues.
• Implement product rotation process by collecting and analyzing historical data (Using SQL and Tableau).
• Oversee the transportation lead time and adjust the safety stock level for warehouse stock level.
• Maintain and balance Order Up To Level (OUTL) and safety stock between distribution warehouses to fulfillment warehouses.
  

Job Requirements: Job entails working with and requires master’s degree in Analytics or relevant with Candidate must have 1-year professional experience in:

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Table, Lookup, VBA)
• Python
• Product Performance and Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) Rotation analysis.

Employers will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of the requisite fields followed by 1 years of experience in the position Product analyst, data analyst, or related.

Salary:         $ 86674 per annum
