Application Cloud Architect (Java)

We currently have a vacancy for an Application Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Production of software architecture documents;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture;
• Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud;
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 5 years experience in the development of Java-based back-end systems;
• Minimum 5 years experience with Spring Boot and Spring framework and libraries;
• Minimum 2 years experience in the development of Angular-based applications;
• Minimum 2 years experience in the development of automated tests (unit, integration, contract-based, APIs, endto-end);
• Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns;
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
• Good knowledge of applications design;
• Good knowledge of modelling tools;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
• Good knowledge of business process analysis;
• Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence and MS Teams;
• Excellent command of the English language.
