We are seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP PP solutions for manufacturing and production planning processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration and optimization of the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutions
- Configure SAP PP modules to support manufacturing processes such as demand planning, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), BOM (Bill of Materials), and shop floor control
- Collaborate with business users to design end-to-end production planning processes, including capacity planning, scheduling, and material flow
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Support the creation of functional and technical specifications for any customizations or enhancements required
- Provide guidance and training to end-users on SAP PP functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems related to SAP PP
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules (such as MM, SD, and FI)
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements to optimize business processes
- Maintain documentation related to SAP PP configuration and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant or in a related role
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP module implementation, configuration, and support
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and shop floor control
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
- SAP certification in PP module is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules such as SAP MM, SD, and QM
- Experience in working with global teams and managing offshore development resources
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
