Founded in 1953, Aerosonic has grown to be a leader in aviation instrumentation and avionics equipment. This includes air data systems, standby displays, digital and mechanical standby instruments, sensors and probes. Our customers include the major manufacturers of today's civil, military and business fixed wing and rotocraft platforms, as well as, all branches of the US military forces. We are currently seeking a part-time Architecture engineer for a large renovation project at our facility. This position is located in our Clearwater, FL facility and is onsite, not hybrid or remote.
Job Summary
- Collaborate with team in major onsite renovation/infrastucture project
- Assists in preparation of design, specifications, plan and estimates
- Review of original building blueprints and following standard drawing practices
Education/Previous Experience
- Currently enrolled in, or graduate of, an Engineering/Architecture Degree Program at accredited university
- Must possess ability to work in and around a manufacturing facility in a safe manner
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CAD Software, preferably Solidworks
- Strong problem-solving skills using sound judgement and attention to detail
Work Environment
- Restrictions limited only by individual’s inability to perform essential job duties and where an unsafe condition would result for the individual or surrounding employees
