- You will join Equativ at a key moment as we start our Japan operations and set up the founding team for the market. You will be a critical member to start our local supply-side business by leading all publisher activities and building the future of Equativ Japan!
Key responsibilities
- In Japan, your primary objective will be to develop and execute the publisher strategy to achieve revenue targets, drive business growth and support our demand partnership efforts:
- Set growth objectives and hit publisher acquisition and revenue targets
- Define a publisher and supply-partnerships strategy by driving and leading the relationship with publishers and other supply-side actors
- Review and maintain healthy operations of Japan supply by build and monitoring KPIs to analyze the performance of the entire supply portfolio
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to publisher engagement
- Build and promote long lasting relationships with prospects and partners
- Promote direct publisher supply across the entire demand-side network
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the Japan AdTech space
- Be an expert of Equativ product offerings, especially programmatic solutions such as Equativ Buyer Connect, Auctions packages, PMP/PG, and Media buying products
- Articulate and address operational matters when there is a need to improve our solutions to meet publisher needs
- Identify, recruit and manage new supply sales executives to succeed in Japan
About you
- 7+ years of experience delivering results in a supply / publisher development role at a digital ad tech company with a proven track record in consistently meeting or exceeding goals
- Demonstrable experience managing publisher relationships and negotiating strategic partnerships
- Advanced understanding of SSP operations, inventory management, and optimization techniques
- In-depth knowledge of programmatic advertising, real-time bidding (RTB), and publisher monetization strategies
- Existing network with large Japanese publishers and media companies is a must
- BS/MS degree in business, marketing, technology, or a related field
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization in both native Japanese and business level English
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools
- Proven ability to drive the supply-side sales and engagement process from plan to close
