Job summary:
The Red Hat Business Enterprise Application team is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will serve as an experienced functional expert with knowledge of the Oracle R12 Financials E-Business Suite of offerings, specifically in Procure, Source to Pay, and Record spaces. You will set up, configure, and support two or more of the Oracle Financials' modules, including Purchase Order (PO), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), E-business Tax, and General Ledger (GL). You'll need to have solid Oracle Financials implementation experience, combined with a deep understanding of business requirements which can be translated into solutions documents. You'll also need to have an ability to work with senior-level executives and ability to help guide strategic objectives. As a Principal Business Systems Analyst, you'll get a great opportunity to manage new implementations of our offerings and integrations with third-party applications like Concur, SAP Ariba, etc.
Responsibilities:
Resolve complex issues; analyze situations and data that require a detailed evaluation of variable factors
Exercise good judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria
Understand business process and resolve issues to satisfy customer needs
Define new business requirements and provide gap analyses
Prepare detailed functional specifications for extensions, interfaces, reports, and conversions (MD50s and TE40s) and for quality assurance (QA)
Complete application setups to support conference room pilots (CRPs), conversions, and interface extension testing
Develop and deliver end user training
Support production support team as a subject matter expert
Requirements:
10+ years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials modules and broad experience implementing them globally; experience with the R12 version and the ability to configure it optimally is a big plus
Experience working with and understanding of complex financial integrations like banking, treasury, and reporting in U.S. GAAP and other regions like Latin America (LATAM,) Asia Pacific (APAC), and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
Expertise in Oracle E-Business Financials Suite modules like AP, GL, Subledger Accounting (SLA), E-Business Tax, FA, and PO; knowledge of Order Management (OM), Project Accounting (PA), and Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) modules is a plus
Ability to work with a technical team; ability to understand and communicate technical requirements
Ability to manage a cross-functional team consisting of technical and non-technical associates working in different time zones
Good communication skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
